Overview
Earthwork is the first pass and the foundation for everything that follows. First Water self-performs site clearing, mass grading, and the building pads and subgrades the rest of the job is built on, so the dirt is right before a single structure or lift of asphalt goes down.
Our crews run their own dozers, scrapers, excavators, and motor graders, and we balance cut and fill on site wherever we can to hold down haul costs and truck traffic. Grades are shot and checked against the plans, not eyeballed, because every phase downstream depends on them.
